Sex Work and Career Change

"Have you ever thought about changing careers?"
"Have you ever thought about when you will switch careers?"
"Have you ever thought that this business is "money for youth", and you can't make a living when you get older?"
"Have you ever thought about the future?"

"Will you go for further study?"
"Will you try to do other jobs?"
"What are your plans for the future?"
"Are you preparing for a career change in the future?"

The wording may have been once and again changed, but the meaning behind is actually the same: "You can't be a sex worker for a lifetime. Will you change careers? Are you ready for the change?"

It could be because of care and concern, or moral judgment, or simply based on objective facts that such questions are asked.

It's just that there probably won't be the same number of people asking: "You can't do it for a lifetime as a professional athlete. Will you change careers? Are you ready for the change?"

There is always more attention paid to sex workers. Why is it so?
